Horse to exercise wanted
I am looking for a horse to ride regularly in the Woolston/Heathcote area/east of Christchurch ideally but am open to other areas if it is the right fit.
I have a lesson once a week and I am looking to ride more regularly and an hour every weekend just doesn't seem enough! I ideally would like to just have some fun but obviously would also be benefiting you by helping exercise your horse. Would like to do a bit of jumping, flat work, hacking etc and I love just being around horses - grooming etc. I had my own horse and rode overseas from a young age and have just got back into it over the last year after about 8 years off. I would say I am at an intermediate level and I am trying to brush up on my skills. I haven’t competed in NZ but have done level 1 dressage tests and have jumped up to 70cm since starting back since last year. I am 26 and work full time during the weekdays but am available to ride after work if it is close enough and also in the weekends. If you want to discuss further, please message me or give me a text 0272030022
Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓
In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?
What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
-
31.7% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
68.3% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
