Poll: Would you support your children or grandchildren participating in the Run to Remember?
Helping Christchurch’s youth become more active is the main goal of a new Run to Remember offer for schools.
Organisers hope the initiative will attract record numbers to the event commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Canterbury earthquakes as well as the lives lost in the March 15 attacks.
Halswell School is the first school to offer its students, parents and staff discounted entry rates for the 10-kilometre walk and run though the Port Hills on February 21, thanks to Sport Canterbury and Athletics Canterbury.
