Little Autumn Market Day Sat 7th April at ChCh Sth Community Gardens
This glorious weather has meant we have received from our neighbours and grown ourselves more produce than we can fit into our two freezers for making pickles - So we are making pickles hand over fist and having a couple of extra Autumn Market days this month -
next Mkt Day is This Saturday 7th April 11-1pm ~ usual place 188 Strickland St, Sydenham -
We will have another Market Day Saturday April 28th - in 2 weeks time

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
