DIY mother’s day gift idea - Coconut Rose Body Scrub

Harcourts Holmwood Merivale - Cindy-Lee Sinclair

Spoil mum (or yourself!) this mother day with smooth, silky skin. This super easy three ingredient organic body scrub smells and feels so amazing that it will make your mum feel like she’s spent the day at a luxury spa! Coconut oil has so many applications as a natural beauty ingredient, not only is it ultra-hydrating and leaves your skin glowing, it also has antibacterial properties to help prevent breakouts and heal wounds quickly. Finely ground pink Himalayan salt is great at exfoliating and cleanings the skin and rose essential oil assists in toning, firming, and lifting the skin.

Ingredients:
•1 tablespoon of room temperature coconut oil
•2 Tablespoons of finely ground pink Himalayan salt or sea salt
•3-4 drops of rose organic essential oil (available at your local pharmacy)

Simply whisk these three ingredients together with a fork, for a ready-to-use scrub! Use on hands, feet, arms and legs. Store and present in an airtight jar.
