On Thursday 20th October for one day only all buses travelling towards Mt Pleasant and McCormacks Bay will detour away from part of Mt Pleasant Rd while road works are carried out. Buses will detour off Major Hornbrooke Rd onto Billys Track and Mt Pleasant Rd back onto Soleares Ave to continue the … View moreOn Thursday 20th October for one day only all buses travelling towards Mt Pleasant and McCormacks Bay will detour away from part of Mt Pleasant Rd while road works are carried out. Buses will detour off Major Hornbrooke Rd onto Billys Track and Mt Pleasant Rd back onto Soleares Ave to continue the normal route UNLESS passengers request to be dropped further up the hill upon boarding the bus.
If a passenger needs to be dropped further along the route buses will detour by continuing the normal route up Major Hornbrooke Rd then detour onto Madeley Rd, Bellview Tce and back down the hill along Major Hornbrooke Rd onto Billys Track and Mt Pleasant Rd back onto Soleares Ave to continue the normal route. Please note passengers need to tell the driver upon boarding they need to be taken up the hill otherwise the shorter detour will be run.
Buses travelling towards Russley are not affected. View detour map attached.

The aim of the project is to determine the relationship between childhood events, coping styles and adult thinking patterns. If you a male aged between 18 and 35 you will be eligible.
The project is being carried out as a requirement for a Masters Thesis by Joy Chao at the University of Canterbury under the supervision of Dr Sarah Christofferson, who can be contacted at 03 364 2987 ext. 7952. She will be pleased to discuss any concerns you may have about participation in the project. Participation is voluntary and you have the right to withdraw at any stage without penalty. The questionnaire is anonymous, and you will not be identified as a participant without your consent. You may withdraw your participation, including withdrawal of any information you have provided, until your questionnaire has been added to the others collected. Because it is anonymous, it cannot be retrieved after that.
If you choose to take part in this study, your involvement in this project will be to complete an online questionnaire which will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
