What's your 2018 Community Resolution?

Matthew Salmons Reporter from Christchurch Mail

2017 is nearly done, 2018 is coming in hot. This New Years we want to know what your resolutions are in your community. Are you thinking of starting a new club? Want to encourage volunteering? Got something you want to share with you neighbours? What do you want where you live?
I'm sure not eating as much sugar is a noble pursuit, but we want to see goals which better your whole community (not just your waistline).
We really want to know because we want to share your resolutions this year so that at the end of it we can check back in and see how it went. How you made a difference in your community.
Let us know your Community Resolution by emailing matthew.salmons@fairfaxmedia.co.nz and we'll be in touch.
HAPPY NEW YEARS!

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? πŸ›»πŸš¨πŸš“

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?

Addictive Eaters Anonymous

The Team from Addictive Eaters Anonymous - Christchurch

How much does it cost to join AEA?

There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
