Worried about the state of literacy in NZ? It might feel like there's little you can do to help, but YOU CAN make a difference!

Literacy Christchurch is a not-for-profit organisation. We have been involved in helping adults in Christchurch reach their literacy and learning goals since 1977. We run a variety of programmes, including our very successful Learner Licence courses. We'd love to provide more of these courses for adult learners in Christchurch.

On Wednesday 7 August we will be holding our first ever Quiz Night Fundraiser. Please join us for a fun evening quizzing away and be in to win awesome prizes (thank you to our many wonderful sponsors!).

And of course you will get the warm fuzzies of knowing you have made a difference to our community. Driver's Licences are essential for many jobs. Not having a licence can also be a first step on the road to getting into trouble with the authorities. Plus our tutoring skills and literacy experience mean that learners will improve their literacy as well as getting help towards passing their Learner Licences: double the bang for your buck!

Just $15 per person, six people per team (we can help you make a team up if you would prefer) - bring along a few coins as well to help your team's score and to be in the draw for a raffle prize.

We'd love to see you and your team-mates there! (Email us at jenniferalisonleahy@gmail.com or contact us here or via Facebook to secure your place) www.facebook.com...

Hope to see you there!
