Concert Time with South Brighton Voices
I am pleased to let you know, that the Christmas concert by South Brighton Voices will be taking place on Sunday 27th November at St Faith's Church, corner of Shaw Avenue and Hawke Street, New Brighton, commencing at 2.00 p.m. They have some really lovely music on the program, which I think also includes "audience participation", so get your voices ready (ha! ha!). Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
