MAD MAD MAD

Brian from New Brighton

CALLING ALL MAD CENTRAL NEW BRIGHTON RESIDENTS
Yes that means you, but you have to be MAD..
Come to the last meeting of 2019 on December 2nd (next Monday) at the New Brighton Museum Hardy St with 7.30pm start.
Still looking for more committee members and anybody interested in what happens in the central area of New Brighton.
NBRA is the group representing the concerns of residents so if you are, and want to add your viewpoint to a meeting, you are very welcome.
This is a watershed time for New Brighton and you can help mould a positive direction following on from some very successful past and present groups like The Pier and Foreshore Society who almost were the prominent force behind the pier and recently donated $15k to further enhance the 11.2 million dollar He Puna Taimoana hot pools.
Contact Brian 02040400007 for more detail.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
