SPARK COPPER PHONE LINES
www.stuff.co.nz...
Like the people in this article i was told last year that i had to change to wireless as copper lines were being phased out and i would have no phone or internet if i didnt change. I also know of some elderly people that have been told the same information. Just curious to see how many others are out there who have been told the same, It seems this is not the case....The incident comes as the Commerce Commission assesses a complaint that Spark may have breached the Fair Trading Act by encouraging copper home phone customers to switch to wireless broadband through a practice known as "inertia selling" β an allegation that Spark has denied.

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?
What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
-
32.1% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
67.9% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
