Guinea Pigs and cages to give away to new loving home.
Hi all we adopted 2 male guinea pigs (2 years old) from a friend who were moving to England. Initially they had someone to take them but that fell through so we offered to help out. We love them but have found that 2 of my children are allergic to them and I struggle with a hay allergy. We persisted as long as possible (6 months) but have come to the conclusion that they aren't the best pets for us heartbreakingly. We would like to find another loving home for them and are happy to give the outside cage, inside cage, newspapers, tunnel and a bale of hay, free, to help their start with a new family. They squeak and respond to our voices and we have given them cuddles but not as much as we used to. They are really easy to look after. Warning - one does bite when he gets fed up with being held. It’s the talk of the town (and every coffee queue): the Canterbury "summer" has felt a bit wet this year! We’ve definitely had our fair share of grey skies and raincoats lately 🌧️ In fact, the Post reports that Christchurch experienced almost double our usual!
