Diwali - Indian festival of lights is celebrated in Christchurch every year by Indians in South Island and the wider community. Diwali in Christchurch has grown significantly in the past 12 years and event is now attended by thousands of people from the wider community.
The highlights of the event are:
1. Stage performances by local performers from different states of India

2. Traditional and Folk dances, music, songs

3. Food Stalls selling regional and authentic Indian food

4. Trade Stalls including Indian dresses and shoes

5. Free Event!

☔️ Where’d the summer go?
