PAEONY SEASON is beginning again - exciting times! With lots of wonderful and interesting cultivars becoming available now.
The new club, CHRISTCHURCH PAEONY is currently meeting on each 2nd Monday evening at the Kiosk in the Botanic Gardens, covid levels willing!

And there is a FLOWER SHOW coming up on 20 November open to all and FREE/Koha to attend. So please pop this in your diaries. More info coming up on how to place entries from your garden in the SHOW!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
