Celebration Weekend 27 – 29 September 2019 at McLeans Island Golf Club, 800 McLeans Island Road, Christchurch

Programme:
Friday 27th September
From 6pm Welcome and Registration Function, (Finger food and cash bar).

Saturday 28th September
11:30am 50th Anniversary Tournament, (Open to registrants, current members and their partners) - 5pm Tournament prizegiving.
7pm Anniversary Dinner

Sunday 29th September
10 am Special Match of the Day, (Bar and Kitchen open to purchase food and drink)

Opportunities on Saturday and Sunday for those who can’t walk the course to be escorted around the course in a golf cart.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
