Hay-fever season is descending upon us, in great gusts of pollen and bouts of sneezing. This got us talking (and sneezing) in the office. Does a sneeze or hiccup require an "excuse me"? What do you say when you sneeze or hiccup?

Hi there
I was wondering if anyone has any newspapers that they no longer want.
My in laws dog is going to be having puppies soon and they would love some unwanted newspapers.
Happy to pick up.
Thanks 😊

I am so pleased with this decision. Well done to all the residents who made sure their voice was heard!
Lots of great lessons to be taken from this, but the biggest is that when communities stand together they can achieve anything!
Congratulations to you all.

Please, everyone who is travelling through Arthur's Pass, please take care of our Kea. There are currently a lot of juvenile Kea, just fresh out of the nest, but they are still learning and have been playing on the road. last week, one kea got hit by a 4wd, and remained in the grill of the 4wd though to chch where it was still alive, but later died due to its injuries. today another kea, on the viaduct has been killed most probably ht by a vehicle. this morning I found a kea on the road, with 5 other Kea around it trying to help it. it had been hit by a vehicle. I picked it up, taken it to DoC who in turn have taken it to a Kea hospital in Ch-ch where I hope its injuries are not life threatening. The Kea are inqusitive and often come into conflict with humans, but the world will be much worse off with out them. they are now on the endangered species list.
