Magpies
Hi neighbours.
I've recently had magpies hanging around my garden. I have a toddler who plays in our garden so I don't really want them there as I have heard they can swoop/attack during nesting season? Is there anything I can do to deter them? I don't want to hurt them.
Let me know if you have any experiences/ideas. Thank you!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
