Learn Karate from home!

Anne from Kaiapoi

Hi everyone! My name is Anne and I'm an instructor from GKR Karate. I hope you and your family are doing OK during the lockdown.
Obviously our classes are suspended for the moment, but in case you are interested in giving karate a go, I wanted to let you know about our online Dojo.
Normally this is only available to members of our club, but given these strange times we are opening it up to whoever wants it!

- Lots of classes suitable for beginners through to advanced students

- More classes being added daily

- Live streamed classes taught by our CHCH instructors

- All lessons suited to small spaces (learn in your lounge, bedroom, garageโ€ฆ)

- 3 day free trial, so see if you like it first

- Once our normal classes resume we would love you to invite you to join our club as a full member with a special offer and free uniform

You can get started straight away here onlinedojo.gkrkarate.com..., but if you have questions please feel free to contact me by PM or 021 337 168

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? ๐Ÿ›ป๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿš“

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?

Addictive Eaters Anonymous

The Team from Addictive Eaters Anonymous - Christchurch

How much does it cost to join AEA?

There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
