Well attended public meeting at Avonhead
Scores of residents braved sleety winter weather to attend a public meeting organised by Cr Sam MacDonald, together with Mayor Phil Mauger.
Many relevant community issues were discussed with lots of questions from those present.
Those were two productive hours. Waimairi Community Board members Nicola and I were both there to listen to the issues raised.
Residents were encouraged to make their submissions on the draft annual plan.
