160 young people amongst us supported through Youth Development Fund
It is very pleasing to note that the Fendalton-Waimari-Harewood board supported no less than 160 young people who live in our area through the Youth Development Fund during the financial year which ended on 30th June 2019.
The variety of activities which supported is mind-boggling too!
Future problem solving, Girl guide and scout camps, singing, dance, gymnastics, rugby, indoor cricket, football, futsal, volleyball, netball, athletics, korfball, rowing, canoe, basketball, fencing......
This fund is open for those who are in the 12-22 age bracket.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
