Documentary Screening
Hi All :) I need to ask a favour of you! I will be hosting 2 screenings in Christchurch, both of which I want to make as accessible as possible. I want these to be platforms for discussion, idea sharing, and project planning for action on waste reduction in Christchurch. It has been hard for me to get funding for these as I am not a legal entity. So, I have decided to crowdfund. Plastic is incredibly destructive to our planet, and particularly, marine life. It is so important it is to get the message out there, so I'm asking you guys to help me do that! I've set up a PledgeMe - it has all the information on it. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

WANTED - Hat Blocks & Hat Making Equipment PLEASE..
Can anyone help.. My daughter is interested in starting to attempt to make hats as a hobby.
I was wondering if anyone might have any old wooden hat blocks (similar to the one pictured) or any old hat making tools or equipment that they no longer use and would like them to go to a good home.
Happy to pay for these.
