Keeping Each Other Obese and Ill
www.openfuture.biz... a strange heading, but it's a fact. The obesity and illness in our society is CAUSED. In particular the things we choose to eat and that we offer each other to eat, lie at the root of the problem. Do you want to give your neighbour or friend a gift of food? What do you give them? Almost always something sweet. Something that contributes to bad health.
The illustration shows how we feed the roots of our obesity and ill health every day. Then we want the doctor to cure us. The solution is in your own hands. We need to think differently about our food.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
