Bandit Yarn are doing a cool event with all profits to go to Cat Rescue Christchurch.

‘’ Our first Lights Up Knitting session at the Academy Gold Cinema (across the road from us at The Columbo) will be at 7.45pm on Sunday 1 September ‘’

Can you multi task. Knit and watch a movie at the same time. DO YOU JUST LOVE BRUCE SPRINGTEEN. If so purchase some tickets and let’s get productive.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
