MISSING Halswell Area
Today I received a message from a kind person regarding a deceased cat on the motorway near Wigram. My husband retrieved the cat, brought him home and we struggled to determine whether he was our baby. So similar! We took the cat to Halswell Vet and they confirmed that he was not neutered or microchipped. Our boy is. So very relieved, but sad to say someones fur baby has died. THE SEARCH for Eddie continues! Thank you all for your messages and kind words. I'm keeping positive Eddie's journey leads him home soon.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
