Community Pride Garden Awards 2024
It was so nice to acknowledge the efforts of our local residents and businesses whose gardens have been judged - by the Christchurch Beautifying Association as being exceptional. Over 30 residents and a few businesses were given certificates and trophies at the Community Pride Garden Awards 2024 event held at the Russley Golf Club and Function Centre by the Fendalton- Waimairi- Harewood Community Board.
Congratulations to all nominees and winners!
Sudima hotel (airport), Commodore hotel and The Russley Village were amongst the businesses who won the awards.

Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
