A lovely sunny day today for the markets! was originally going to be inside but we decided to venture outside due to the weather. Many thanks to everyone who cam down to support us and to all the stall holders putting in a lot of work, thank you again to our wonderful team and volunteers whose help never goes unnoticed. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
