We Need Your Help. (if you can)

Bronwyn Reader from Cat Rescue Christchurch

Since the 1st January we have taken on 105 cats & kittens in just 24 days! 🙀

😿And in just 24 days our January vet bill is already over $17,000! 😿

This our latest kitten to arrive in care who was trapped this morning she has joined her 2 siblings and we are hoping to get the last one soon!

As we have so many cats and kittens coming through our care we are going through a lot of litter! We need pellet fuel (the most economical litter) ASAP.
We are currently going through two to three 15kg bags per week!

If anyone could donate some and drop off please email us for an address catrescue.chch@gmail.com😽

Pellet fuel can be purchased at PAK'nSAVE or hardware stores, but currently not at Bunnings until winter. The 15kg bags of 'on fire' are $8.99 at PAK'nSAVE and are in the Fuel and Fire section of the supermarket. Any brand is usable.

If you would like to make a donation directly into our account to help with our vet bill our details are below😽

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
