1-Day Electronic items BEWARE
A NZ business that trades as 1-Day.co.nz regularly offers parallel imported electronic items. I purchased a refurbished smart phone from them that was advertised as having been technician checked and with 1 year warranty. Sadly it had several problems straight out of the box. I sent it back and warranty was declined as the glass rear cover had cracked. They couriered it back to me unrepaired and advised it would be $80 to replace the cover. I contacted them and asked if I accepted that quote would they fix the other faults. After almost 2 weeks I have not had a reply. Check out other similar reviews on Sitejabber.com. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
