Shopkeeper still in 'temporary' premises, a decade after 2010 quake
A decade on from the earthquake that destroyed his shop and home, Christchurch shopkeeper Frank Yan is still operating from a “temporary” store.
The Addington shop, which has a shipping container attached to the building for extra storage and hand-written signs, is too hot in summer and too cold in winter.
Yan is just scraping by.
