New Mentoring Programme to Christchurch. Mentors Needed
Carabiner Mentoring is a unique programme for young people with disabilities who demonstrate the skills, motivation and determination to achieve a specific aspirational goal.
Carabiner matches young people with “experts” and leaders in the field that they are aspiring towards. Mentors do not need experience with disability, as the most important link between the young person and the mentor is the shared interest and the introduction to a new network that can support the mentee with their goal.
Mentor Vacancies
We are currently on the search for two mentors.
Game Developer Mentor
Mentor wanted for a young male who is passionate and skilled in computer game development. The young male's goal is to create more advanced games
Sound Mentor
Mentor needed for a young male with an interest in sound systems. He would love to be a "sound guy."
Both of these young males would really value the opportunity to talk with someone in their field of interest.
If you would like to find out more about Carabiner Mentoring or are interested in becoming a mentor for one of the young men above, please message us or email kerri@carabiner.org.nz

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑
Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.
We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
