Classic dining table and six chairs
This lovingly cared-for, reproduction round Victorian Pedestal Dining Table and six mahogany, balloon back, dining chairs were crafted in Christchurch. A highly prized wedding present, in the late 1970s, from my parents. Characteristic of this romantic period in British design history, this setting works perfectly to create that classic dining room charm and or fit perfectly into an eclectic modern setting. Featuring beautifully carved detailing, solid wood, and turned pedestal with elegantly sculptured legs that curve down to the exquisite brass footings. The recently, refurbished chairs seats with tasteful, velvet upholstered are stylish and comfortable. All in good-excellent condition. The separate tabletop and base make for easy transport, delivery, and assembling. Owners are downsizing and moving to be with our family overseas. Available to view in Cashmere. Can provide transport for a local buyer.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
