Mother of All Clean Ups - Opawaho Heathcote River
Mother of All Clean Ups for our Opawaho Heathcote River is happening again this year on Saturday 13th May and Somerfield Residents Association Commitee are getting behind this initiative and requesting for our community to join us & assist to clean up our river between Barrington Street and Colombo Street - along Ernlea Clarke Reserve!! We need your help please!
All the Rubbish bags will be supplied on the morning from 10am to 12pm. Thanks to the Opawho Heathcote River Network organisers Helene Mautner and Karen Whitla.
Please meet by the Barrington St / Cashmere Rd Bridge at 10am for a Debrief and photo first then all volunteers walk the river from Barrington Street to Colombo Street and collect rubbish to be returned to the Barrington Street bridge for collection by the CCC.
It was lots of fun last year and it plans to be again this year!!
