New Brighton Road's new partly sealed bike lane
Hey New Brighton neighbours,
A new partly sealed bike lane has appeared on New Brighton Rd, but it looks half done according to some locals.
What are your thoughts on this new bike lane? Is it safe?
UPDATE: A Christchurch City Council spokesperson said the lane would be extended hopefully this week and then a final surface would be added from kerb to kerb. The end result will be a consistent surface across the whole carriageway, he said. There will be a delay before the final surface is completed, early November, to allow time for the first one to harden.
Premature theft
Increasing the cost of fuel in anticipation before any actual justification I regard as blatant premeditated theft.
The CEO's who condone this premature theft for their share holders BEFORE they have any justified reasons will not be so quick and prematurely reduce the price when the situation is reduced.
Nor if the situation is quickly restored will they arrange payback if they have over reacted.

Hit and Run car accident
Hi does anyone know of a faded blue flat deck ute which drove down breezes road Sat 28th Feb and clipped my car on the right rear and sped off going down breezes road then turned into cuthberts road at 1.13pm the ute would have damage on the left hand front guard and bumper, he was seen on our CCTV, cheers.
