Soft Plastics Recycling
Have you noticed, the Soft plastics recycling scheme is up and running again after a break of more than 2 years.
Take your empty, clean, and dry soft plastics to the special bin at your local The Warehouse or Supermarket. These bins are specifically for appropriate empty, clean, dry items. Items that you can scrunch up in your hands.
For more information, please see www.recycling.kiwi.nz...
And for your information, these plastics are recycled to produce fence posts, garden plant containers and many other products for sale in NZ. Also remember to check the FAQ’s in the website.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
