Get fitter in 2020 in Bishopdale

An eight week Be Active programme is starting at YMCA Bishopdale on Thursday 30th January at 1:15pm - 2:30pm.

Be Active participants enjoy the opportunity to:

> Try out a range of activities, e.g. low impact exercise, aqua jogging or aquacise, gym, sports, dance
> Discuss topics that support a healthy lifestyle, e.g. motivation, types of exercise, healthy eating, managing stress
>Enjoy the support of the other participants and Sport Canterbury's Green Prescription staff

All activities are suited to people new or returning to activity, with a focus on enjoying being active and giving things a go.

Be Active programmes are open to anyone who is:

>Inactive and wanting to be more active
>Medically stable to participate in low to moderate activity
>Over 16 years old

Cost: $3 per session
