Do you have a favourite piece of furniture that could do with a new lease of life? Are you wanting to learn how to recover a well worn favourite piece? Come along to Papanui High School and join our hands on Upholstery Course and you will learn how to repair, repad and recover that favourite piece of furniture. The course is being taught by Steve McDonald from McDonald and Hartshorne Upholstery and is being held on Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 November 9 am - 4 pm at a cost of $153. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
