Papanui High School Furniture Polishing and Restoration Course
Do you have a piece of furniture that you would love to restore? Then come along to Papanui High School and join our Furniture Restoration and Polishing Course.
In this class students will learn the basics of stripping, sanding and repolishing their own items of furniture. This is a hands on course and students need to bring an item of furniture eg chair, coffee table, nest of tables or tea wagon to work on. Fee includes the cost of materials. The class is being held on Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 November 9 am - 4 pm at Papanui High School at a cost of $203. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
