I have been leading these tours to central and eastern Europe for nearly 20 years and most of the … View moreThis is a guided bus tour through Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and by ferry across the Baltic to Helsinki, Finland, with most expenses paid for within a total cost of $9,000. I have been leading these tours to central and eastern Europe for nearly 20 years and most of the tour members are people who have been on previous tours. So there is no advertising, it has all been by word of mouth. The 2018 tour has 30 people enrolled and it happens that two people have just cancelled because of ill-health. The hotels and other attractions are all booked so there is an opportunity here for anyone interested in a tour which takes you off the beaten track, meeting the locals and enjoying folk song and dance festivals on the way. We would like to invite you and your extended family and friends to join us in A Christmas to Remember. Together we will share a commemorative time and celebrate Christmas.
You may wish to light a candle to symbolise a life still significant, and there will be an opportunity to write a personal message on an angel card to place on our tree. In the New Year the messages will be gathered together and interred at our Living Memorial at Otukaikino to form a tribute in memory of those who no longer share Christmas with us.
Light refreshments will be served.
