Tape Recorder - Reel to reel for sale
AKAI model X-200D
Details: Condition: used
Description: I bought this about 18 months ago, and used it to digitise old family tapes. I did a few tapes, before the left channel stopped functioning. I think the problem is that the braided earth shielding has come disconnected. The only functions I used were PLAY, RWD, F FWD, and the tape speed setting. They all worked fine until the earth problem occurred. Other than that, I don’t know what functionality it has.
I had another recorder that I used to finish the job (see my listing for Sanyo MR-803 Tape Recorder)
From looking on the internet, it seems that it was made between 1971 to 1975.
Its speeds are: 1 7/8, 3 3/4, 7 1/2
One rubber foot missing.
Dimensions: W 365xH 350x D 230mm
For sale as is.
