"There's been a lot of mistrust going on somewhere. There's absolutely no winner the way this has all panned out.
"I'm really disappointed that the review has made its way to the media. That should be done under the cloak of silence and when it gets out and open for public scrutiny, it's horrific."

Do you find that the phone doesn’t ring, there are no texts or emails? How about joining your local Probus Club. The Centaurus Combined Probus Club offers the opportunity for men and women to meet new people and try new experiences. The group meets each month at the Cashmere Club, 50 Colombo Street, ( or Hunter Tce, off Malcolm Ave) at 2:00pm on the first Tuesday each month. You do not need to be a Cashmere Club member to attend. The Centaurus group has members from Redcliffs to Halswell as well as from across town.
New members are very welcome. Our group activities have included 10-pin bowling (very popular!!), two levels of groups walks followed by morning tea, a visit to Moffatt’s flower nursery in Halswell, a group visit to the Court Theatre, a trip on the trams in town and an evening meal at Armadillos restaurant in Beckenham.
The next meeting is this coming Tuesday, 3rd February

A drain camera inspection, however, identified underlying damage linked to past earthquake movement. Ageing ceramic pipes had shifted and cracked over time, creating a potential issue that had not yet surfaced.
An existing EQC (now Natural Hazards Commission) claim was still in place. We supported the owner throughout the process, gained approval, and completed the repairs without incurring additional costs.
The drainage system has now been restored and the property made secure.
