Freshly picked peonys
This afternoon I have some freshly picked flowers. Coral Charm is the variety. A bright pink with yellow stamens. 6 buds per bunch-$10 Please have the correct change as there is an honesty box. There will be flowers daily this week from 10am to 8pm 32 OAKLAND STREET off Langdons Road. The Peonies are also available from Belfast Road and Island Road Kaiapoi (approx 2km off Tram Road).
There will be a limited supply of 3 other varieties this week. From next week Sarah Bernhardt will be available.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
