Walk with me- Mental health fundraiser.
Hi all, my name is Jess and I am a Chch resident walking from my home in Papanui to the beehive in Wellington, with my two sons, to raise awareness of the mental health crisis NZ is currently in. I leave on October the 1st..10 days time!!
I am also raising money for STAND, a nationwide service trying to help as many struggling children as possible. As you may know there are too many kiwis (of all ages) struggling and not enough services, funding, resources, staff and time to meet the high demand so the money I raise will go directly towards psychologists seeing children faster to shorten their recovery time. Building job
I would like a pantry made in the gap the old hot water tank used to be. This involves a wall being taken out but it isn't load bearing.
Also a shelter outside over the bin area needs replacing.
I have tried Builders Crack and of the 3 only one turned up and I want more estimates.
Any recommendations of builders or handyman who are happy to at least have a look.

DOC is rolling out a new tool to help figure out what to tackle first when it comes to protecting our threatened species and the things putting them at risk.
Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, we’re a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.
For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.
Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature — and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?
