Papanui High School Crochet Nightclass Term 3
Do you want to learn how to crochet? Come along to Papanui High School and join this fun Nightclass where you will learn the basic crochet techniques of chain, double crochet, treble and tieing off. Students will do some practice crocheting which can be turned into an object of their choice, they will also learn how to make a beanie and a granny square which is the basic square for many blanket designs. This class is being held on a Tuesday night 7-9 pm at Papanui High School starting on 7 August and will run for 2 nights 7 & 14 August at a cost of $75. Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.

Building job
I would like a pantry made in the gap the old hot water tank used to be. This involves a wall being taken out but it isn't load bearing.
Also a shelter outside over the bin area needs replacing.
I have tried Builders Crack and of the 3 only one turned up and I want more estimates.
Any recommendations of builders or handyman who are happy to at least have a look.
