My name is Jake, I'm The Press newspaper's newly appointed Neighbourly reporter for Canterbury and the South Island. I've worked in Stuff's Christchurch newsroom for ten months now where I previously covered breaking news. Neighbourly is growing as a popular tool to access local news and keep in touch with those around us, which we often miss with national media outlets. I'm here to bring you the news closest to you in a role which will work similarly to a community newspaper reporter.

We use less than a teaspoon of sugar in each of the buns which gives them the colour and texture that makes them perfect for burgers.
This is an after school programme for primary school kids in the Burnside-Harewood community. We plan to run 4 weekly events in September. If there is interest for this programme to continue in the 4th term, we will continue.

Ranger positions at Aoraki/Mt Cook and Queenstown have already been filled from the course, among others.
