Centaurus (Combined) Probus
Retirees! New Year's greetings to you all! Are you feeling lonely and isolated? Do you find that the phone doesn’t ring, there are no texts or emails? How about joining your local Probus Club. The Centaurus Combined Probus Club offers the opportunity for men and women to meet new people and try new experiences. The group meets each month at the Cashmere Club, 50 Colombo Street, ( or Hunter Tce, off Malcolm Ave) at 2:00pm on the first Tuesday each month. You do not need to be a Cashmere Club member to attend. The Centaurus group has members from Redcliffs to Halswell as well as from across town.
New members are very welcome. Our group activities have included 10-pin bowling (very popular!!), two levels of groups walks followed by morning tea, a visit to Moffatt’s flower nursery in Halswell, a group visit to the Court Theatre, a trip on the trams in town and an evening meal at Armadillos restaurant in Beckenham.
The next meeting is this coming Tuesday, 3rd February
