Projector TV
Do you have a projector TV screen that you want to get rid of? If so, I would like to take it away for free. I want to put it to pieces and take the Fresnel lens out of it. Happy to pickup anywhere in Christchurch. "Projector "TVs are how they made big screens before LCD screens were common. I have posted this message in August 2021. I will keep re-posting for up to a year or so because I suspect they are not very common these days. If you are interested please contact me on my mobile and tell me the model of TV you have. Poll: What should happen to the cathedral?
In August, restoration of the Christ Church Cathedral was put on hold. Church leaders have no idea when work might restart.
Last year, the Government declined to provide further funding beyond $25 million, and the church, who had raised $24m in donations and contributed $49m including insurance, said further public support will be required to find the revenue required.
