Saturday 1st August 10 - 2 pm at St Ambrose Church. 309 Breezes Road. A wonderful selection of stalls with crafts, St Ambrose with crafts, St Chads with used furniture, Aranui Handiscope with crafts made from members and volunteers. We also have Liz a hair dresser who cuts hair , then you can explore the many stalls or enjoy a hot cuppa and the yummy food - Bacon and Egg Sandwiches, sauage sizzles, chop suey and j's Baking. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
