Bengal Cat killed in Avonhead
Terribly sorry to report a Bengal Cat was hit and killed by a silver Nissan (Note?) outside 300 Withells Road about 4.30 this afternoon. The heartless driver didn't even stop. I took the poor cat to the Avonhead Vet on Withells Road, but it was too late. I lost my own Havana Oriental girl in exactly the same spot 3 years ago, so I'm terribly sad for you.
But people, for Gods sake, don't let your pets outside around rush hour. Cats have no road sense.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
