Amyes Road - Shands Road traffic jam
Once again I have spent 15 minutes waiting in a line of traffic on Amyes Road Hornby. This traffic jam could be easily fixed if the 'yellow no parking lines' on Amyes Road by the Rail Crossing were extended along the left hand side. Cars parked on the left hand side of the road stop traffic turning left into Shands Road and also stop traffic going straight ahead onto Goulding Ave. If you are frustrated with this intersection please write to council and suggest the extension of the yellow lines. In some cities they have 'tow away' areas where cars parked at busy intersections during the busiest traffic hours are removed, but it would be cheaper to have the yellow no parking lines.
