Community Fun Day: Sunday 24th March, 1-3pm
Hi neighbours!
For a lot of us, the idea of a 'fun day' doesn't sit well so soon after the mass shootings. However, as we've seen around the city in so many displays of unity, community is essential. Join us this Sunday, from 1-3pm at Sockburn Park, to share community together. Yes, there will be fun things on offer, especially for our tamariki, and there will also be spaces to simply be together, share a hug, some kai, some time. We hope you can join us!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫

Surplus vegetables.
My favourite way to use these is in a frittatta. It's so easy to make and even the kids will usually eat it. Mine like cheese. There are heaps of frittatta recipes online.
