Monthly Village Bryndwr Community Market this Saturday
The Village Church Community Centre's new Market is held in our new building cnr Ilam & Aorangi Rds first Saturdays of the month 9.30am-11.45am. This is run in conjunction with our weekly Clothing Shop. Quality household items, baking, retro & bits & pieces plus our wonderful barista-made koha coffee. This month there are several 50c/item tables. Donations of good quality items are always welcome contact our office: 351-6664 for pickups!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫

Surplus vegetables.
My favourite way to use these is in a frittatta. It's so easy to make and even the kids will usually eat it. Mine like cheese. There are heaps of frittatta recipes online.
